Put the local game on the record.
National Technologies Club is the company behind Open League: the platform that staffs a trusted referee for a local basketball game, runs the live scoreboard, settles the game, and publishes a Record a player can stand on.
Live at openleague.net since August 2026
The official record layer for local basketball.
Any pickup app can find you a game. None of them can tell you whether the player claiming 30 points actually scored 30. Open League starts with the referee, so the score, the stats, and the reputation built on them mean something.
Only refereed, settled games produce official stats. Everything else is casual. That distinction is the product.
The Fairness Guard loop, in six steps
- CreatePost the run: free, trial, or paid.
- StaffOffers reach nearby verified referees.
- Check inConfirm the referee is courtside.
- ScoreOperate the board and keep the book.
- SettleHandle the officiating payout in-app.
- PublishCertify stats and share the Record.
What we hold to.
Trust is the product.
A fair call, a correct score, and a stat line that means something are the entire value. Referees, ratings, verification, and settlement are core surfaces, not add-ons.
Truth has one source.
The server computes every score, check-in, payout, and final state. Screens show what the system has confirmed and never guess ahead of it.
Corrections add history. They never erase it.
Every score, call, and fix is appended to the game's log, so a Record carries the receipts behind its numbers.
Nothing is faked.
No invented players, scores, or live games, in the product or in how we talk about it. What isn't known yet is marked as unknown.

Founder and CEO
Romaine grew up on New York City courts and still plays. Open League started on a sideline: a pickup game with everyone locked in, and not one person who could name the best player on the floor. The game ended and the record went with it. The company exists so that stops happening.

Work with us.
Bringing officiated basketball to a city takes referees, organizers, courts, and partners who care about the local game. If that's you, we'd like to hear from you.
